U.S. vs. China Summit Match
 A Celebration of the Mind

The Seattle Chess Foundation is organizing a friendly match between the United States and China. Each team will have 13 chess players however only 10 persons will play per round. The match is over four rounds.

Reports of Each Round

Lecture Schedule

International Master Jeremy Silman will provide commentary on the games played during playing days. His lectures will start half an hour after the start of each round and will run approximately till the round is over. Jeremy's lectures are at the Harbor Club, downtown Seattle and admission is free.

Time Control

Time control: 40 moves in 100 minutes followed by 20 moves in 50 minutes followed by all moves in 10 minutes (all moves played get 30 seconds bonus (Fischer method)
